The Historical Center maintains an especially rich collection of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century Louisiana newspaper. In addition, there are selected issues of French newspapers published in New Orleans from the early 1700s on, such as Moniteur de la Louisiane (1795-1814), L'Ami des Lois (1814-1815), L'Abeille/The New Orleans Bee, 1827-1866, and the Le Courrier de la Louisiane, 1808-1842.
